'Icons of India'-Part 3. " Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam"

Today in this article series of Icons of India. We will talk about very influential person. One who had a dream to take India at no. 1 in science and technology. Yes, we are talking Dr. A.P.J Abdul kalam. We promised to write about two personalities but for this person we have different feelings.

Abdul Kalam: Born on 15th October 1931 in Ramesewaram. He has  been inspiration for the youths of India and will always be. For him there is only religion called Indian. Above religion and politics, He served as 11th President of India and famed as "People's president".

He was scientist by profession and gave India a new heights in field of research. He is credited with development of various missiles of India like 'Agani', 'Nag', 'Prithvi' and many more. He worked in DRDO and ISRO. For his contributions he was awarded with all the three highest civilian awards 'Bahart Ratan', 'Padam vibhusan' and 'Padma Bhusan'.

He left this world on 27th July 2015 with his dreams to make India a developed country behind him. He is the great example of what one can achieve with his burning desire.His dream is to let every student to light up the sky with victory using their latent fire in the heart. Through out his life he earned more than 30 international Awards for the contribution in the field of Science and technology.

His quotes like ' dream before you desire', 'knowledge is beyond age' and many more such quotes are enough to motivate generations after generations. I belive he has motivated every Indians and he must have been the motivation for many students who are interested in Science. We wish Kalam sir to come back and enligthen us many more years. Being one of the follower of kalam sir am really getting emotional while writing this.
